Worktribe Document Referencing

Worktribe Reference provides a comprehensive library service for referencing documents and citations.

 

Worktribe Reference enables links between multiple reference libraries with full granular permissions and allows embedded citations from any other document across the enterprise.

 

 

The link to the reference is independent of the location of the reference document in the library structure; therefore if reference documents are moved, all embedded citations from other documents through the enterprise follow the document to its new location.

 

Worktribe Reference is fully integrated with the Worktribe Documents version control system.  All references are made to specific versions of reference materials as the citation must be date stamped; however with the version control they can also provide easy access to newer versions of the document being referenced. This makes it straightforward to identify a newer reference source, and Worktribe Reference will indicate all citations to documents with newer versions allowing global access to ensure that all citations are up-to-date.  Furthermore, modification of one citation reference to a new version will update all embedded citations throughout the enterprise.
