University of Dundee joins 52 other UK universities and research institutions transforming Research and Curriculum Management with Worktribe, the UK’s leading platform for higher education software for research and curriculum management.

After reviewing available solutions, University of Dundee selected Worktribe Pre-Award to streamline processes for costing, pricing and approval of research and research related projects, all in one place. Worktribe’s cloud-based SaaS platform will significantly reduce the administrative burden and increase transparency across the research lifecycle. The single system will replace multiple out-dated systems at the institution, bringing increased efficiency to the whole process allowing staff to spend more time on research activities.

Susan Young, Head of Financial Accounting at University of Dundee said:

“Many other research-intensive Universities have successfully adopted this software and we are certain that we can use it to improve our current practices and simplify the pre-award costing process.  Worktribe are well regarded across the sector and have demonstrated an in-depth understanding of the research journey.”

Pamela Houston, Head of Research Finance Services added:

“Worktribe will significantly reduce the administrative burden to all involved in collaborating and contributing to the pre-award process.  The single system will bring increased efficiency and streamline processes, with all involved having sight of activity throughout.”

Freddie Bower, Worktribe commented on the news:

“We are thrilled to welcome University of Dundee onto the Worktribe platform and as the latest member our user community. As a research intensive institution, we are excited to be partnering with the team to transform the pre-award process and to support the future growth of activity across its research centres and units.”
